Located at the heart of the Isle of Wight, Newport Harbour is reached by a safe, easily navigable channel.

Sail 4m up the River Medina from its estuary at Cowes and you will discover an ancient port with excellent modern facilities to ensure you will have an enjoyable stay. Visitors pontoons have water and electricity available. On the quayside are toilets and showers. There is also a plentiful supply of dry berths for winter storage.

Newport Harbour is a secure haven in all weathers and seasons and an ideal base for exploring England's biggest island. Using the harbour as a base you can explore unspoilt countryside, spectacular coastline, charming villages and visit an astonishing variety of attractions.
Attractions beside the harbour include the Quay Arts Centre, the Riverside Centre and a recently established nautical museum called the Classic Boat Museum. The compact town centre is only a few minutes walk away and offers a wide range of shops, including branches of most leading national High Street retailers and several "superstores". There are modern leisure facilities and many pubs and restaurants catering for most tastes and budgets.
